A one-day retreat for softening your grip, listening to your body, and rediscovering the parts of you that already know the path to freedom.

Shadow Work for ease

What if ease isn’t something to earn… but something you’ve forgotten how to access or trust?

There are moments when we crave rest, openness, relief. Like we’re overtaken by the swarms of chaos, the weight of responsibility, or the pressure of obligation. But when ease finally arrives, it can feel… unfamiliar. Unsafe. Fleeting. Out of reach.

This full-day retreat is a space to explore our subconscious blockers to ease—and how to begin reclaiming it as your baseline. Through a blend of body-based shadow work practices, somatic processing exercises, guided self-inquiry, and a little fairy dust, we’ll gently surface the unconscious patterns that make stillness feel like a threat and softness feel like a risk.

Because in a world of urgency, slowing down is an act of rebellion.
And like the story of the tortoise and the hare, it’s often the slowest path that carries the deepest wisdom.

About the Facilities

The retreat is hosted at a private hillside sanctuary (the Compass Lodge) tucked among trees, with winding garden paths and hidden nooks that invite quiet exploration. Guests are welcome to rest in hammocks beneath the sky, take a refreshing river plunge, or settle into one of the cozy meditation stations—also perfect for an afternoon nap.

The space features a bright, comfortable indoor gathering room for workshop sessions, a full kitchen, and multiple integration areas where guests can reflect through journaling, art, tarot, or runes. Two outdoor decks overlook the landscape, ideal for solo practice or creative time, and the outdoor fire pit offers a grounding container for evening ritual.

Additional amenities include a pool, outdoor shower, and a quiet room for rest or privacy throughout the day. Everything is designed to support softness, curiosity, and self-directed healing in a space that feels both held and free.

The Compass Lodge is located in the hills of Fairfax, CA.
Address will be privately disclosed to participants after registration.

This circle isn’t about bypassing your tension, overriding your fear, or ignoring the ongoing turmoil in the world.
It’s about building the capacity to hold more of yourself—so that ease becomes something you embody, not chase.

Because when you can access ease in your own system, you carry it into the world.
You model another way.
And little by little, freedom ripples outward from the inside.

Come with your questions.
Leave with a deeper relationship to your inner landscape—
and a little more permission to live like you belong to yourself.
