The Problem:

Limiting Beliefs, Painful Thought Loops, & Nervous System Dysregulation

When we encounter a stressful event, we typically have an immediate emotional response to it. As this happens, our nervous system activates — sometimes disproportionately — in response to the circumstance at hand. However, modern neuroscience shows us that our emotions and activations are almost always based on our own internalized beliefs and biases, rather than the event itself. This can lead to a distorted view of the world, and can easily cause us to spin into anxious thought-loops and self-defeating behavioral patterns. When these cycles spin long enough without intervention, it can leave us feeling angry, lonely, hopeless, and even trapped in our own bodies.

The PSYCHE’s ECOSystem:

However, when we really look, we will notice that there are always 3 components of perception at play:

→ what actually
happened (the external event or circumstance)

→ how we feel about it (our nervous system response and authentic emotions)

→ what we think about how we feel about it (perceptions, internal narratives, and manufactured emotions)

The Shadow Work

The Deconstruction & Restoration Process

When we deconstruct our perceptions, thoughts, and feelings, we can begin to identify the root causes of our emotions, reactions, and the internalized belief system framework that each operate from. From there, we can begin to unravel the limiting beliefs and consequential behavioral patterns that keep us stuck in these painful loops — all from the inside out

Through Shadow Work informed by Nervous System regulation tools and education (Somatics), as well as Trauma-education, Rachael guides clients on a journey inward to explore the layers of the unconscious mind to befriend and call back our abandoned and rejected parts of Self. Through this work, she helps clients to process and release old patterns and their blocks, realize untapped potential, connect with their intuition, and reclaim their power.
